Last night I was working on my buddy’s vintage Peugeot.
He hasn’t ridden this thing in years and when I got it the chain was caked with so much gunk that it took me an hour to get the stuff off with some degreaser, scrubbing brush and elbow grease.
Yup, that’s Fat Tire Ale. A must when working on a bike.
Check out the chain cleaner. That chemical was clear when I first put it in. Look how nasty it is!
Here’s the packet that I used, its the Park Bio Chain Bright. Notice how nasty the left over was after cleaning the chain? I should have taken a before and after picture. This stuff works pretty good.
