NuVinci Hub on its way!

I just confirmed it with Seattle Bike Supply today. They have sent us the NuVinci wheel to review as well as to demo at the Urban Commuter Expo on May 19th in Pasadena. So if you’re going to be in the SoCal area on the 19th, you can try the NuVinci wheel out yourself. We’ll set it up with on a demo bike so you can fall in love with it!

It’s great to see an opportunity for more people to try this hub – good work, guys. If you have any questions about setting it up, don’t hesitate to call or E-mail me. Val

Val, did you build the wheel that we’re getting?

The wheel you’re getting was built by our amazing Wheel Department. These guys not only turn out literally hundreds of high quality wheels every day, they can do pretty much any custom build you want. The NuVinci hub is an unusual size, and is heavier than most hubs, and has an axle that is one diameter on one side, and another diameter on the other side, all of which makes building a wheel on it a challenge. Rob and his ace builders were up to the challenge, though, and have been able to put together several batches of fifty wheels at a time, in order to keep up with the steady demand. The wheel you are getting will be the same solid quality that anyone who orders one from us would recieve.

    Hi Val,

I emailed Tim since we got just the hub. So I wasn’t sure if we were supposed to be getting a whole wheel.

    Thanks!
