Schweet! I need (well, not really need -- more of a want than anything) a 110 mm BCD ring. 36 or 38 T would work, too.

I'll keep an eye for a 34T Blue Chainring for you. I frequent this shop where the owner buys neglected bikes and restores them. He also stocks uncommon parts. Since I'm his buddy, he usually lets me have the stuff for free.

Well, I think that X-Ray looks really badass!

The reason I asked is because I am looking for a blue 34T chainring to complete my "Patriot" (red, silver and blue) singlespeed mountain bike. Profile Racing makes blue chainrings, but they're too expensive for my purposes (with the exception of wheels, I've spend a total of $40 to resurrect a Schwinn rigid MTB frame and fork).

I like to personalize my bikes, too...because the things ought to have some style as well as utility. I have become a huge singlespeed fan, as well -- less maintenance, less complexity. Getting the chainline just right can be a pain, but it's worth it in the end.

I don't really know the brand of the chainring, it matched the anodized brakes so I bought it! You probably figured out that I don't really care for ordinary bikes and I always try to personalize my bikes as much as possible. This X-ray was my 2nd bike build. I love singlespeeds because they are easy to build, they are cheaper and since my commute is really flat, they really fit really well.

What kind of chainring is that on your X-ray ?-- it's a real early 90s throwback!!! Is purple the new black?
