		<description>Wasn&#039;t that the legendary WTB &quot;Grease Guard&quot;?  If I recall, it was a joint venture between Wilderness Trail Bikes and SunTour.  It DID seem like a good idea, but now we&#039;ve got &quot;sealed&quot; (disposable) BBs...hardly an improvement!</description>

the grease gun
from when bottom brackets and hubs had a hole for injecting fresh grease
forcing bad grease and dirt out the other side

it seemed like a good idea at the time</description>
