Sick bike Drew! That Brooks saddle and the stache bars look the retro part. I thought I was getting the ’08 model too, but I’m certainly not dissapointed with the ’07. Enjoy the ride!
Reposting after my first commute to work. 32 miles roundtrip and the 925 handled it like a champ. Except for the freewheel. Really surprised at the poor quality of the freewheel. oh well, one replacement to make the perfect bike. 925 rolls along really well and the steel frame is spot on for city riding. Really soaks up the roughness in the road. Keepin it real with steel!
Ditch the freewheel, you will find out that riding a fixed gear bike is not as hard as it seems.

Do either you or RL run clipless pedals on your fixies? i’ve been considering doing the fixie thing but feel like it would be really difficult to clip in on a fixie. Especially in the middle of traffic or something.
RL rides with clipless, I don’t. I’m considering installing mini-clips later on. I’m still getting the hang of riding a fixed gear bike, but you will be surprised that after a couple of miles of riding, you will get used to riding without coasting.
