Not terribly fast, but low maintenance. The farthest I've gone on one trip is about 30 km. But it's really aimed at the 5 to 10 km commute (about 3 to 6 miles). It really is an awesome bike, and perfectly outfitted for commuting. The only thing I would change on it is give it a bigger sprocket in the rear to lower the gearing. The high gear is a little too high and I couldn't get up to a cruising speed in my stop-and-go urban environment. I had a chance to take a spin on a KHS Green while I was delivering one to a raffle winner. It really is an awesome bike, and perfectly outfitted for commuting.
