Moe, if you picked up on that, you don't need coffee. Thanks for fixing the photo sizes.

I had a great ride this morning, by the way. It was one of those (rare) mornings where it just felt so GOOD to ride that I actually went past my worksite, pedaled around a quiet neighborhood for about 10 more minutes, and then came back to begin the daily grind. Great weather, light traffic, no suicidal squirrels... you can't beat that.

As for my aluminum bike, I think my next one will be a steel-framed roadie, perhaps with a carbon fork. A lot of the roads out here are "chipseal" surfaces that really highlight the harsh ride of an aluminum frame. Since I like to do long charity rides and hope to do some supported multi-day rides in the future, I probably will lean toward more of a touring setup. But for what it is, I love my bike.

GAH! Those are huge photos! Can I resize those for you, Moe? Not what I wanted to see early in the morning.

Thanks, GR. It's an aluminum frame with a carbon fork. Nice and fast, but a little squirrelly, too.
