I had something similar from American Youth Hostels when I was a teenager some 40yrs ago, a 2 piece fiberglass pole that clamped onto the bike with an orange flag on the end, spring loaded that would fold when hit.

This idea is not new.

Any info on the company – there is an LLC tag on the bag, but I can’t read it clearly enough? We’d love to find out more about these where I’m from because we have a 3-foot law as well.

Mike — you’re right…it is a nylon fabric tube that slips over the steel “arm”, and is secured by velcro.
