After posting several of my rides to work on Bikejournal.com I noticed that the miles weren’t showing up on my record nor the bike commuters’ club record. I think some people may be experiencing the same problem as some of the rider numbers seem to be stagnant(as mine were).
Anyway I was routinely clicking the “Rides” tab at the top and then clicking “add ride”. This is the method I was using since I couldn’t find any other place to add a ride.
However, the correct method is to click on the “Journal” tab and then click the “add ride” tab. Then enter your ride information and you’re all tracked and good to go! You’ll notice your numbers will feed over immediately to your journal. Hopefully this helps those of you who were having trouble, as I was.

Do you know where you the mileage is entered? I don’t get that option.

Yes, in your individual journal view (before you go to the club and right after you log in), click the tab that says “Journal” and then “Add Ride”. Complete the form and then the club mileage is automatically updated with no further input required from you.

Just as Ghost Rider says, Ben C. After you click the “add ride” under “journal” there will be an open space at the top that asks you to enter your total mileage.

There’s another correct way to add a ride. On your journal while in “Calendar View”, you can click the little “±” on a given date to add or delete a ride for that date.
Adding a ride under the “Rides” tab is for adding organized rides that people sign up for. The naming scheme could use some work.

After much review, I found the issue. I did not include the column for distance under my ride section. I added the column and entered my miles and dates.
Thanks everyone for your response.
