The traffic is not too fast downtown. Things are getting better for us - we now have greenways, pedestrian bridges, and a few bike lanes. It's all the other things that bother me - narrow lanes with fast moving traffic, and the total car oriented culture here. You were in a pretty good area of Nashville for riding.
