I agree with Josh! Has anyone ridden with the Keen Newport sandals? They now make a similar style that is SPD cleat compatible. Just wondering.

I wouldn’t recommend wearing those in the rain with shorts – all the waterproofness will be for naught because water will roll down your legs and into the lining of the shoes.

I’d still like to know how they handle the heat.

Last thing anyone wants is a bad case of swampfoot because they’re wearing rubber shoes in warm weather.
