		<description>I&#039;ve owned a TX for just over a year.
In the summer of &#039;09 I rode it, with fully loaded panniers, off-road from London to Bristol (UK), 200 miles. It&#039;s performance was superb. And at the end of the sojourn I simply folded it up and took the train back to London.
My only gripe is that a strap is required to keep it closed when not using the bag. This is not a major issue.
These are GREAT bikes.
I also use it everyday for work.

		<description>I&#039;ll bet that would be a quick little singlespeed, and would shave a couple pounds off, too.

7 speeds is probably why you feel gearing gaps...you&#039;ve been spoiled by all those 9-speed drivetrains!</description>
