I just posted a short interview with Acorn Bags on Epicurean Cyclist. If you haven’t heard of Acorn Bags yet, you’re not alone. They’re a small company (two people) that make some great products. They have a small range of lovingly handmade saddle bags and handlebar bags with impeccable quality.
Their bags are great for touring, randonneurs and of course, bike commuting. Simple yet stylish, it will turn your bike from something that says “Fred” to “Fred Astaire” (well…almost).
If you want some bike gear that is not all nylon and techy, check out Acorn.

Nice bag but WHERE did you get those golves?? Are they the ones from the Trek Bicycle Manufacturing Company or are they reasonably priced substitutes? I love the tan crocheted gloves give you.
Those gloves were actually pretty reasonably priced from the Great Giant Bicycle Manufacturing Company….picked it up at a local LBS for $12
I saw “Acorn Bags” and thought things were about to get political haha.
I found their site a couple weeks ago, I want one of the two-strap roll bags.
Great stuff there.
I love my olive green Acorn two strap roll bag. And it matches my olive LHT!
Love the canvas bags in general…I have yet to get my hands on an Acorn, but have a couple in mind.

I have had a green acorn saddle bag for two years now. Very well constructed. Holding up very well after two years and over 5,000 commuting miles.
