Hat tip to Dominic for finding this vid. It’s new to me, though others may have seen it before. It’s an old vid that shows lots of “old” bicycle designs, which eerily look to be in style now. I think I even spotted the grandaddy of my Bilenky! And as for tall-bikes, look for the tall-bike/sewing machine bike.

Wow. I just like to point out before the anger starts that they did not have helmets back then. Coincidentally these people are most likely all dead now too, but I don’t think the helmets could have saved them. 
Amazing to me how little the general idea of the bicycle has remained unchanged for so long. Trailers, racers, bents, tandems, very cool. I would love to take a spin on that last row bike contraption though.
Watching this, I’ve truly come to appreciate how minute the bicycle technological improvements have become! Take a step back and think about how much discussion goes on about tiny details compared to the basically unchanged shape and principles of the machine itself.
