Some friends and I will be riding in this year’s American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure. Our local event is on March 7th at Ft. Desoto, Florida.
This is the first charity ride I’ve done in a LONG time…probably more than 20 years have passed since I’ve done one.

may I ask what prompted you to participate in this particular charity ride?
I’ve done the Tour de Cure a couple of times in the past, too…
Three reasons: I have the day off, my club put together a team (Seminole Heights Bicycle Club) and I haven’t done one in so long — I really used to love charity rides and have done about 100 of them, but not in a long long time…
I should add that I don’t get to go on club rides anymore…my work schedule changed and I work on ride days now. So, this is a perfect excuse to ride with my homies!!!
