Last night my daughter and I joined the local ROS in Fullerton, Ca. We met up with a few other riders in Downtown Fullerton. Our planned route was set for about 8 miles through city streets. This is my 3rd or 4th ROS and it seems to be the same out of riders each time. Further south from us in Irvine, their ROS ride is HUGE, hundreds of people show up for it. But a small group was a bit more intimate and easier to manage.
My daughter and I proudly wearing our BikeCommuters.com T-Shirt. But it was bit chilly, thus the jacket for her.

The mood was somber, yet vibrant because people were just happy to be out riding their bike.

One of the great things about this ride was we discovered some bike trails that we never knew exsisted. Jane (event organizer) took us through Cal State Fullerton in which had a bike path that went right through the campus.

If you participated in the ROS, I hope your turn out was a good one and that you helped bring awareness to drivers out there for other bike commuters. I know for a fact that our very own Elizabeth got some media coverage for the ROS ride she organized, great job E!
